What Chester Bennington taught us creatively, and his influence: Tribute to Chester
Linkin Park has given us lot of music and songs to think
about ourselves in a different way. the two men behind this are Chester
Bennington, Mike Shinoda .Chester is no more today but you can feel his presence when you listen to “Numb”
or “In the end”. he knew how to play with the words and music. the way of
creation from Chester came from the inner scene and relating to the bigger outer
world which is always the dominant form of expression.
But when we look at the
person named Chester Bennington and his journey of life we come to some obvious points like marijuana, alcohol, opium, cocaine, methamphetamine,LSD and the childhood sexual abuse.yeah these are some things which he has gone through in his life
tenure.now people who use a holistic point of view will say all of these are
not good, but no one got the authority to judge any creator. he has given us
good music and made us connect to the world through music. creation takes
creativity, but great creation takes pain, creativity and alongside pain and lot of other
Factors. there is always a standard question
“Pain is necessary for creation?”
it’s
a wrong question to ask cause as pain can make your content more relatable but
that doesn’t mean that if you go through pain it will enable the great
creativity within you. the biggest and worst thing about great creators towards
their own life is they have to stay sane in order to convey the insanely true
or beautiful message, as a creator only you will be the person who will always stay high but hiding it from the world. the drugs and abuse are not the thing which
helped him to create but these are the part of his journey which shaped him in
the last day when he was standing. life for creators is not easy if you have to
create great things you have to go through all the phases of life which comes
in your way and never stop to face them.
Feeling alive is always of great significance but feeling validated creatively is more important for creators.
It’s always you who will decide when it’s the time to quit.
